A MONTHLY evening of poetry, storytelling and music returns to the Boars Head, in Kidderminster, on Tuesday (November 11).

Birmingham Poet Laureate Roy McFarlane is headlining this month’s show, which kicks off at 7.30pm, with his set entitled Love in the Time of Revolutions.

The set aims to take the on a journey from the 80s to the present day, infused with love.

Roy will be joined by pianist Steve Tromans, bringing to life the works of John Coltrane, Gil Scott Heron and Nina Simone.

Local poets, storytellers and musicians can sign up for open mic spots on the night from 7pm.
