A FESTIVE bonanza to help create a sparkling Christmas, while raising money for Cancer Research UK, is taking place in Kidderminster.

The partnership event between Marks & Spencer and Kidderminster Academy is on Tuesday, November 18, where guests will be treated to free Bucks fizz and a party food tastings session from 6.30pm until 8pm at the Academy.

There will also be demonstrations providing useful festive hints at tree decorating, gift wrapping and table designs.

From 8pm until 9pm, guests will be given an exclusive chance to shop in M&S with staff on hand to assist with personal shopping and fashion styling.

There will also be demonstrations of new beauty product ranges taking place in the first floor café.

Margaret Griffin, co-ordinator of the Wyre Forest committee of Cancer Research UK, said: “This is a very special occasion and we are delighted that M&S and the Academy want to work together again for such a good cause.

“They make a great team and it promises to be brilliant night and something a bit different for women of all ages.”

The two organisations first came together in March to help the charity with a successful fashion show at Kidderminster Town Hall.

The evening will also feature a grand raffle and free evening parking is being offered at Weavers Wharf.

Tickets, priced at £12, are available by calling 01299 250205.
