CHILDREN at a Kidderminster nursery have been developing their superhero skills to raise money for Children in Need.
During a week of activities, the babies of Deerhurst Day Nursery, in Franche Road, have been exploring messy play situations using all their senses to look for their favourite characters.
Elsewhere in the nursery, toddlers and little pre-schoolers have developed their physical ability and listening skills to rescue their favourite furry friends in the outside area.
The creative pre-school heroes have also been making crazy foam cakes and had fun sharing them with Swashbuckle the pirate.
To make the fun even more rewarding, the group raised more than £450 during the week to go toward the BBC appeal.
Lesley Jackson and Becky Whettall, nursery managers, said: “We have had a fun packed week of play and learning.
“We would like to thank all of our children, their families and staff for their support and hard work.”
