The WI broke with a very long held tradition and had the Leys Group meeting over a lunchtime and afternoon.
It was very well supported by members and president Greta Mitchell thanks you all. Michael Leach, the speaker, was excellent.
He is a wildlife authority and shared with us his beautiful photographs and told us of the tricks he used to obtain them.
He was informative and humorous.
The November meeting found us making gelatine flowers with a Christmas theme under the guidance of Diana Brothwell.
December was the Christmas party.
It was very busy, we ate, played games, made goody bags in which to take home our gift and took part in a super raffle.
Greta also asked us to read the resolutions in WI Life ready to vote in January.
The get together on January 14 at 1.45pm the group will watch, The Quartet.
Drinks will also be provided.
Subscriptions of £36 are due now.
