THE Shuttle would like to clarify that a story published in the paper on Thursday, December 25, and online included incorrect information.
St Oswald’s CE Primary School provided the newspaper with information that the shoebox presents it was making as part of the Samaritan’s Purse Operation Christmas Child appeal were being sent to Kurdistan.
However, the Samaritan’s Purse has confirmed to The Shuttle that the consignment of 10,500 shoeboxes sent from the Stourport distribution warehouse – including St Oswald’s – will be going to Kyrgyzstan.
