At the last meeting Veronica Collette told us of her experiences as a senior nurse in Saudi Arabia during the 1980s. She covered, in some detail, the differences in culture she faced and how they impacted on the medical services that the Hospital offered to some 2000 patients per month. Veronica also explained, with candour, the problems encountered by Westerners in their social lives.
The club’s next meeting will be at the Chester Road Bowling Club on Wednesday April 15 when Terry Church will pose the question ‘Has the world gone mad?’ This club for retired men with professional, business or similar backgrounds, provides a programme of stimulating talks at meetings throughout the year. We need new members. If you are interested contact the secretary on 01562 632846 or visit kidderminsterdistrictprobus.btck.co.uk
