ROCK CHOIR: Stourbridge & Kidderminster Rock Choir groups helped the local charity WINGS (Wombourne Special Needs Support Group) raise £1368 at their Spring Fair on April 16.
The choir, led by Stourbridge-based choir leader Christa Hugo, staged two performances of uplifting songs including Higher Love, Don't Stop Me Now and Time After Time during the event at the Allen Memorial Hall in Wombourne. The Wombourne-based charity provides much needed support to families of young people with special needs and learning difficulties. Nan Flavell, one of the founders and chairperson of WINGS, has been a dedicated member of Rock Choir for the last four years and brought about the collaboration for the second year running.
