KIDDERMINSTER ART SOCIETY:The society will be holding its annual art exhibition throughout October at Kidderminster Library. As part of the exhibition of art, on October 6, the society are hosting a special celebrity demonstration at the library by guest artist Angela Gaughan. Angela will be showing some of her wonderful wildlife paintings and demonstrating the techniques she employs to create the paintings using acrylics.
Angela Gaughan is a Welsh born artist who is now resident in Tamworth, Staffordshire. She works in a variety of mediums and is probably best known for her portraits and wildlife studies although she has previously undertaken commissions on a wide variety of subjects. She has written a number of books and tutorials, signed copies of which will be available on the evening.
The Celebrity Demonstration commences at 7.15pm. Doors open at 7 pm.Tickets are £6 each, £5 to members. Refreshments will be available. Please note that there is no charge to view the exhibition, which is open during normal library opening hours.
