WYRE Forest favourites Blind Lemon will perform at Kidderminster Town Hall on Saturday, May 28 as part of the town’s canal festival.

Doors open at 7.30pm and the six-piece band who are renowned for their live performances plan to play a selection of soul, motown, ska and new wave classics.

The band comprises guitarist Nick McCarthy, bass player Rich Morgan, drummer Danny Koisser and keyboard player Harry Baldwin, all of whom provide backing vocals. Tim Pickering plays sax and Mark Pearsall is lead singer.

Mark said: "We were delighted to be asked to do the gig. Its always good to play in our home town and especially the town hall.
