A KIDDERMINSTER auto-parts shop has been broken into just seven weeks after opening, costing the business about £5,000.
Offenders entered Bromsgrove Motor Factors, Easter Park, Worcester Road on Monday at 1.30am, setting off an alarm.
Damage was caused to doors and phone lines were cut. Nothing was stolen and it is not known why the offenders entered the building.
Director Tony Rollings said: “The phone systems were down so it cost us a day’s trading on top of the cost of damages. I am disappointed this has happened so soon after opening.”
Anyone with information should call police on 0300 333 3000, quoting 4-N-230412, or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
