MUSICIANS are getting set to showcase the music of female composers at a celebratory concert in Kinver.
Local musicians Ayaki Davies, pianist, and soprano Hannah McFarland will be performing at St Peter’s Church on Saturday, October 15, at 2.30pm.
Their concert programme, Wonderful Women, will showcase a selection of pieces by prominent female composers including Clara Schumann and Lili Boulanger.
The concert will also feature music written about women by male composers.
Refreshments will also be provided within the price of the tickets, which cost £8 in advance, or £6 for children, and increase by £2 each if bought on the door.
