POLICE investigating the suspicious death of a woman in Kinver have today named her as Natalie Andrews.

The 26-year-old was found dead at her home in Kenrose Mill on Sunday December 18 after paramedics and police were called just before 9.30am.

A post mortem examination was carried out yesterday, Monday December 19, but police say the results were inconclusive and further tests are required.

They are currently treating the young woman's death as suspicious though - and a 38-year-old man, who was arrested on suspicion of murder, has now been released on police bail until early spring pending further enquiries.

The detached property, in Kenrose Mill which Natalie had only recently moved into, remains cordoned off while forensic examinations continue.

Police say her family are being offered support by specially trained officers and Sergeant Richard Gorman, Local Policing Team Commander for South Staffordshire, said: "Our thoughts remain with Natalie’s family at this incredibly difficult time.

"Our investigation into her tragic death continues and I would ask people not to speculate until this is complete."

Anyone with information about the incident is urged to contact Staffordshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 246 of December 18.

Alternatively, people can contact the independent crime-fighting charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or leave information through their anonymous online form at www.crimestoppers-uk.org.

Sgt Gorman added: "No personal details are taken, information cannot be traced or recorded and you will not go to court."
