Kinver WI
The ladies have been as usual busy throughout the Autumn, getting quite nostalgic learning about the “Divi” the share of the Cooperative company that was accrued and happily spent by lady shoppers, then the Cadbury Story, lots of chocolate before our eyes, and finally the history of Mary Steven’s Park. Who knew that fabulous crystal chandeliers had once been made where now a public park stands.
We have had our Christmas evening with food and drinks, poems and stories even a few games, to set us on our way for Santa! Speaking of Christmas, you couldn't have missed us at the crib festival in beautiful St Peters. We even had a signpost directing you to WI, however should you have, check out the website www.kinvervillagewi.co.uk to see our exhibit.
Coming up in the new year are talks with the compelling titles of The Knocknobbler and You can’t abdicate and eat it, well we shall see. We meet at the Senior Citizen’s Hall Kinver on the second Monday of the month 7.30pm, visitors are always welcome.
