POLICE in Kinver are urging villagers to be vigilant after a spate of shed break ins.
Officers took to Twitter to issue a warning to residents in the south Staffordshire village.
People are urged to ensure they keep sheds locked up and ensure any tools are stored away securely inside so they cannot be used to break into properties.
Police also recommend fitting ground anchors to secure larger items to help prevent them being stolen.
People are also urged to register items on the www.immobilise.com website which increases the chance of them being returned in the event they are stolen.
