A PAIR of lifelong friends have opened a new wedding dress shop together in Kinver and are giving one lucky bride-to-be a chance to win a free designer gown.
Jade Laud and Jemma Thomas have opened J&J Brides on Kinver High Street – offering ex-sample designer dresses at a fraction of their original price.
The best friends, who were each other's maid of honour, were on strict budgets when finding their dream dresses for their own big days but were able to get their hands on ex-sample gowns - enabling them to wear designer dresses at a fraction of the RRP.
Jemma said: “We both had dresses that made us feel special and we felt we had not compromised on quality or style.”
Their finds inspired them to set up their own shop selling heavily discounted ex-sample dresses, ranging from £200 to £600, while still offering a dress shopping experience expected at high end boutiques.
The pals, who had been selling dresses from St George's Hall in Bewdley for the last 12 months or so, opened their new Kinver shop on Feburary 1 and as part of launch celebrations – they are currently running a competition for a lucky bride-to-be to win a free designer gown.

The closing date for entries is March 5 - and the winner will be announced the following day.
