President Val Evans thanked all the members for their help when the institute hosted the Teme and Tenbury Group’s Spring meeting. This was well attended, with representatives from all five institutes in the group.

Clive Davies from Mamble, near Tenbury Wells, has been voted into the post of NFU regional board chairman.

A festively-decorated Cadmore Lodge welcomed members for their Christmas lunch.  After a warm welcome from president Val Evans, it was the cue to pull the crackers, tell the jokes and don the fancy hats before the hotel staff served an enjoyable meal.

Secretary Lyn Bowen gave a most interesting and enjoyable talk on ‘Tracing Family History’. The November meeting was the first of the ‘Winter afternoon’ meetings and was well attended.
