Members were welcomed to the February meeting by President Val Evans. Our speaker, Alf Jenkins, gave a beautifully illustrated talk on his travels through The Rockies and Western Canada.

The Institute has been asked to contribute memorabilia to Mamble Village Hall, which is celebrating its 100th year, and will be holding an ‘Open weekend’ during the summer.

The next meeting on Monday, March 9 will have a ‘sweet’ theme as the talk will be about chocolate “from bean to bar”.

The meeting will be at Mamble Village hall, starting at 2pm. The competition will be an item beginning with “M”.

Visitors will be made most welcome.
