President, Val Evans, thanked Pauline Blumer was thanked for arranging the outing to Picton Gardens.
Speaker Dorothy Norman had hoped to be a ballet dancer but suffered an ankle injury in her early teens. She has a beautiful soprano voice and has performed with amateur and professional companies.
On Monday, November 9, WI advisor Marjorie Whiting will conduct the business of the AGM. The speaker will be Paul Cook of Cook’s Garden Centre, Stourport. The meeting starts at 7.30 pm at Mamble Village Hall. There will be a trading stall and the competition is my favourite/unusual plate.
