PUPILS of a Stourport school brought Christmas cheer to visitors of the Elizabeth Mills Day Centre when they performed as after dinner entertainment.

Thirty-five talented musicians and choir members from Burlish Park Primary School were invited to perform a Christmas concert to visitors.

The children delighted the audience and got them in the festive spirit as the whole centre joined to sing favourites such as O Come All Ye Faithful and Jingle Bells.

Lynda Williams, forest school leader, said: “Many of the children at Burlish Park sing and play more than one instrument and the visitors at the day centre were hugely impressed with the talent and enthusiasm shown by the pupils.”

Special guest saxophonist, Mick Walsh, joined the children on stage for their performance. One of the visitors, June Whiteman-Haywood, said the afternoon was “magical – a truly wonderful atmosphere”.
