Chairman Di Crump opened the meeting by welcoming members and guests and asked those who were coming to the Alexandra Theatre to pay for their tickets soon as possible.
Demonstrator for the evening, Jackie Charnock gave a talk on “Melody of colours”.
Di thanked Jackie for a lovely display and Ann Hingley gave the vote of thanks on behalf of the audience who responded with an enthusiastic round of applause.
Sixteen lucky members were delighted to win one of the arrangements and before the end of the evening Jackie congratulated the competition entrants.
The next meeting is on April 27 with popular demonstrator Anita Wright with “At this time of year” and member’s competition title is “Pleasures and pastimes”
Meetings are held at The Elizabeth Mills Centre New Street 7.20pm doors open 6.30pm and visitors are always welcome, £5
