The demonstrator at the club on October 26 was Jane Pugh from Bishops Castle. She has a shop in the Market Town and she brought along some beautiful flowers and foliage.
Her title was, “Oh what a find”, and her containers all had a tale to tell. Barbara Dauncey gave the vote of thanks on behalf of the audience and refreshments were served before the hall was put ready for use next day.
A coach outing to Wendy Lawrence for a demonstration and tea was on November 11 in aid of Meningitis Now.
The November 30 meeting is “Countdown to Christmas” by national demonstrator Nigel Whyles and the members competition is “A festive door decoration”.
The year closes with a social evening on December 15. A buffet supper and entertainment be provided. It will be necessary to have names of those wishing to come and enjoy the supper, prepared as in previous years by Peggy.
