A FASHION show will raise money for a charity set up by the parents of Charlie Beard, a Kidderminster boy who has battled Leukaemia.
The event at Stourport Civic Centre on March 15 is being organised by Finishin’ Touch hair, beauty and tanning studio in Stourport. Doors open at 6.30pm, with the show kicking off at 7pm.
There will be a catwalk featuring bridal and prom wear from Frocks and Flowers of Kidderminster and Sassy Boutique of Worcester.
Entertainment will include singers, street dancers, an MC war and a body art painting competiton.
Money raised will be split between Help for Heroes and Cords for Life, created by Fiona Harris and Joe Beard. They want to help set up banks for umbilical cord donations, after little Charlie had a successful bone marrow transplant using the umbilical cord from an American baby girl.
Fashion show organisers are looking for local businesses to offer raffle prizes. For more details call 01299 878838. Tickets will be available from March 2 at Finishing Touches and Frocks and Flowers or on the door.
