Three pubs to host cider festival

PUB-GOERS can enjoy a range of ciders during a cider festival at three pubs in the area.

Ye Olde Crown Inn in Stourport, the Penny Black in Kidderminster and George Hotel in Bewdley will be hosting the event from tomorrow until Sunday, July 29.

Sixteen draught and bottled ciders will be available from across England and Wales including traditional ciders, fruit ciders and perries.

Robert Deeming, manager of Ye Olde Crown Inn, said: “Cider is the perfect summer drink and I am certain that people will enjoy our fantastic selection - a number of which are not usually available in the area.”

J D Weatherspoon chain of pubs runs an offer on cheap cider and the Kiddy Shuttle describes it as a "cider festival".
Tell me, does a little bit of your soul die every time you cut and and paste these press releases?

There are pubs and there are excellent pubs J D Weatherspoons is at the very bottom and is cheap and nasty and that where it will stay would rather go to an excellent CAMRA rated pub anyday
