RESIDENTS at a Stourport care home were horsing around when a four-legged friend trotted along for a visit.
Ahead on the Grand National last weekend, Ravenhurst Residential Care Home was visited by 18-year-old horse Rupert with trainer Elaine Whalley of Be-Equine.
Carla Siwicki, the home's activities leader, said: "Our residents absolutely loved Rupert and were so eager to stroke him. One lady in particular had never stroked a horse before but by the end of the visit was brushing him.
“Rupert was lovely, he was so calm and loved the attention.”
