TWO teenage boys were robbed last week as they were riding their bikes along the canal from Stourport to Kidderminster.

The incident took place on Tuesday, September 16, at about 5.30pm on the towpath close to the bridge along the stretch of the canal.

Three teenage boys approached the victims, before assaulting them and stealing both bikes.

One bike is described as a thin wheeled pale blue racing bike called Sun Solo, there is a torch taped to the handle bars and carbon fibre stuck to the top of the frame, while the other was a green bike with odd wheels with the make stated as NK.

Other items stolen included a white iPhone 5C, Clack Samsung Galaxy S2, two sets of house keys and a pair of red and black ear phones.

West Mercia Police are appealing for witnesses and have described the first offender as a skinny white teenage boy 17 to 18-years-old, with ginger hair, 5ft 11ins, and was wearing a blue base ball cap, dark blue sleeveless puffa jacket and tracksuit bottoms.

The second offender was described as a chubby teenage boy with tanned complexion, about 17 to 18-years-old, 5ft 7ins, ruffled short brown hair and a snapped front tooth that slightly protrudes. He was wearing black shorts, black boots and had a tag on his right ankle.

The third offender was described as a white teenage boy 17 to 18-years-old, 5ft 6ins to 5ft 7ins, with short blonde/brown hair, clean shaven and had braces on his teeth.
