At the July meeting, members enjoyed a demonstration of sugar craft and cake decorating from WI member and judge, Barbara Harris. She was able to provide helpful hints and tips on using different tools and techniques to create intricate, floral cake decorations and then members used their creative skills to produce their own floral cake plaque. Everyone agreed that they were proud of their efforts and pleased with the finished result.

The next meeting will be on August 20 when members will enjoy a summer supper with food and drink, a quiz and competitions.
