National demonstrator Margaret Rumens brought along some beautiful flowers and foliage for her demonstration “Last of the Summer Wine” on September 28.
Interesting containers were filled with roses carnations, lysianthus, lilies, hydrangeas and alstromeria that eventually filled the stage.
There was enthusiastic applause from the audience at the end of her display and Joan Southerton gave the vote of thanks before calling the raffle Margaret congratulated the members who had entered arrangements in the competition.
Jane Pugh is the demonstrator at the next meeting on October 26, with “Oh What a Find” and members competition title is autumn splendour.
And flower of the month also brings along some beautiful garden flowers.
On November 30, the final demonstration for this year and National Demonstrator is Nigel Whyles with “A celebration of Christmas”
The outing to Offenham on November 11 is fully booked and Chairman Di Crump has booked a coach.
