STOURPORT FLORAL ART: Paul Cook, owner of Paul's Nursery was a very welcome guest at the meeting on Monday 29th February, he had the audience enthralled with histories of the background and excitement of the Chelsea Flower Show. He talked about the size of the showground and the surprise to most visitors how much smaller it was than the impression the television gave. It was very hard work, the final evening when the bell was rung for the sale to start was absolutely manic.
Paul answered a few questions from the members about their gardening problems then called the raffle before escaping to go home.
The next meeting is on Monday with demonstrator Jayne Morris and "Time for hobbies" members competition title is "Easter interpreted".
Meetings are held at the Elizabeth Mills Social Centre New Street 7.30pm.
