with individual arrangements and Joan Kinsella began with a tribute to Halloween by using a large pumpkin as a base for her lovely design of dark red and orange flowers and reading about the history of why we celebrate Halloween.

Sylvia Bennett did an arrangement in a long tray that held three arrangements and was in memory of Joy Cook who been a long standing committee member and had died in September

Joan Southertons arrangement was titled falling leaves and she used an oval structure holding two beautiful flowers and foliage posies with the falling leaves down the centre.

The arrangements were raffled before everyone enjoyed the ploughman's supper prepared by Peggy and a glass of wine handed around.

The final meeting will be a Christmas Celebration by Lee Merrill on November 29 and members competition is "A Diamond Christmas"

Meetings are held at the Elizabeth Mills Centre New Street 7.30pm.
