The AGM was held on Wednesday, March 19 with the committee being re-elected en bloc.

Treasurer Dorothy Every reported a satisfactory year with a profit being made on the last years AV Day.

Chairman Bill Every said it was a very successful year and announced a new competition which would be titled ‘One minute competition’ Harry Hunt announced he was working on a very interesting programme for 2014 / 2015 which would also include the popular workshops.

The ‘Annual AV Day’ was held on Sunday, March 23 at Perdiswell Young People’s Leisure Club, Worcester.

The morning entertainment consisted of a presentation of members and attendees sequences.

There were a total of twelve AVs shown and Linda and Edgar gave us their comments.

The audience vote was awarded to Barbara Jones for her excellent sequence entitled ‘The survivors’ Second place Harry Hunt ‘Land of the midnight sun’; Third place Andrew Gagg ‘Men of iron’.

During the afternoon session, Linda and Edgar Gibbs gave a demonstration of how to produce soundtracks in Pictures to Exe 8.

Thank you to all who entered sequences.

Special thanks were given to Linda and Edgar and also to everyone who helped to make this event possible.
