The club has had a busy year. In January, there was the annual meeting at which a new chairman was elected.

There had been a varied and interesting demonstration programme including “Bits & pieces”, “Spring is in the air”, “Seasonal Splendour”, “Fluertations”

and “Working with flowers”.

Members also went on two outings, one to Virginia Davis’s lovely cottage garden, lunch and a demonstration and in June to Hampton Court Castle and Gardens, Hereford, where the gardens were wonderful and the history of the house most nteresting.

There were also two stalls at Wolverley Carnival in July which raised much needed funds.

Members are looking forward to welcoming Virginia Davis in September with her demonstration “Treat, Trash & Treasure”.

They are also displaying at Hereford Cathedral’s Flower Festival in September.

The club is holding four workshops in October and is planning the Christmas lunch.

The club meets every third Monday in the month at Wolverley Church Hall and meetings start at 7.30 pm. For more details, call 07929984625.
