WYRE Forest students hoping to become doctors, dentists or vets have until tomorrow evening to submit a completed UCAS application.
The deadline of 6pm on Wednesday evening is also that for anyone applying for any undergraduate degree course at the universities of Oxford or Cambridge.
Fatuma Mahad, UCAS’ director of operations said: “The first UCAS deadline of the year is crucial for anyone passionate about these courses.
“One of the biggest pieces of advice I can give is to allow yourself plenty of time. This way, you’ll be able to complete your application and have the opportunity to thoroughly check it before sending it to UCAS.
“You’ll also have a chance to make any changes if your teachers spot anything.”
The application deadline for most other courses and universities is January 15 2015, although some art and design courses have a deadline of March 24 2015.
Applications received by these deadlines are guaranteed to be considered by the relevant universities and colleges.
