The WI met on May 12 for the annual Resolutions meeting and welcomed a speaker on Dragon Boating.
As is the custom at our resolutions meeting we enjoyed a selection of delicious cakes made by committee members. The date of our first book club meeting is to be June 16, so please let Carol know if you would like to join in. All members going to see Quartet at The Rose should have your tickets, please see Sue if you haven’t. Members were encouraged to put forward suggestions for speakers to be invited to our 2015 meetings. Please see Beryl if you have any. June 18 is afternoon tea at Carol’s. Please see Judy for tickets.
On July 5 volunteers are required for Wolverley Carnival refreshments.
At the July 14 meeting will be Summer Fun and Frolics. On June 9 Ellie Targett will speak on WW2 Norwegian Resistance. Bring along an old shoe for the competition.
