The next meeting is on February 18 in the Corn Exchange at Kidderminster Town Hall, starting at 2pm. The speaker will be Max Keen, who will be talking about Richard III.

Hero? Murderer? Loyal brother?

Gay Hill, publicity officer, said: “This time last year we had just heard about Richard III, the king whose body was found in a Leicester car park. Max Keen, who is a very popular speaker and comes dressed in period costume, will discuss whether Richard was a hero, a villain or simply a man of his time.

“He will also reveal some surprising links that Richard had to the Midlands. I am sure it will be a very entertaining talk and have no doubt that it will be very popular indeed.

“For that reason the meeting will be held downstairs in the Corn Exchange at the Town Hall. For anyone who has mobility access problems a ramp is available by prior arrangement with Kidderminster Town Hall.”
