SEVERN Valley Railway is steaming into the new year.
From Boxing Day, the festive season services will operate daily between Kidderminster and Bridgnorth until Sunday, January 4.
Clare Gibbard, SVR’s marketing and communications manager, said: “Blow away the cobwebs and enjoy a post-Christmas trip on the Severn Valley Railway.
“The whole family will enjoy a journey in our steam heated carriages – the winter views along the valley are spectacular – so you can carry on the festive fun, whatever the weather.”
Last weekend saw the departure of the railway’s first Santa Steam Specials services.
The popular family event, which was sold out, saw 8,000 people take to the tracks to visit Father Christmas in his Arley station grotto.
