RESIDENTS of Wyre Forest will now be able to have their say on the service provided to them by Worcestershire Health and Care NHS Trust.
The new Friends and Family Test (FFT), launched this week by the trust, will allow residents to provide quick and anonymous feedback on the quality of care they receive.
Sarah Dugan, chief executive of the trust, said: “We want to ensure that our patients have the best possible experience of care.
“The Friends and Family Test will provide valuable feedback to celebrate good practice and identify opportunities to make improvements.”
The FFT asks if people would recommend the services they access to their friends or family, and patients can give their feedback using a short paper survey after their appointment or admission, by returning a postcard, or online.
Results of the feedback will then be published each month on the Health and Care Trust’s website and on NHS Choices.
Piloted at a number of sites across the trust in December 2014, it has since been rolled out across all services from January 1.
The FFT will not be a replacement for the current NHS complaints procedure or other forms of feedback and patients can continue to tell the trust about their compliments, comments or complaints by contacting the Patient Relations Team by calling 01905 681517 or by emailing pals@hacw.nhs.uk
