The monthly U3A meeting will be held in Kidderminster Town Hall on Monday at 2pm. This will be very special occasion, because in addition to being the AGM, it is a day when we will be celebrating the Wyre Forest & District U3A 10th Anniversary. To mark this special event our Keynote Speaker is Barbara Lewis who is the ‘Retiring National Chairman’ of the U3A. Barbara joined the organisation in 2003, was on the National Executive Committee as area representative Eastern region in 2005 and elected National Chairman 2012.
It promises to be an inspirational afternoon and all existing U3A members are welcome to join in the celebrations, as are visitors wishing to find out more about the U3A, aimed at people who are retired or no longer in full time employment and have time to pursue interests (new and old), keep active and make new friends.
