STUDYING has helped more than 40 long-term unemployed people in Bromley regain confidence in their job skills.
They have received an NVQ Level Two in Environmental Conservation which involved a month-long work placement as well as a variety of environmental community projects. Some of them have already landed full-time jobs and the rest are looking forward to a return to the world of work.
Employment Service client liaison officer Samantha Cannon said: “Many of these people have had their confidence knocked by being out of work and we hope to help them get it back. By doing this course they've achieved a lot and helped the local community too.”
