Vandals deface school hall

CHILDREN at a Petts Wood pre-school got a shock when they arrived to find their building covered in graffiti.

Parents on the Monday school run were met by the sight of about 50 spraypainted “tags” covering the walls and windows of The Pavilion, Willett recreation ground, Crossway. Bowlers and tennis players, who also use the pavilion, rallied round to help with the clean-up.

Pre-school manager Caroline Stoneham said: “It was just a real shock to see the building looking so bad.”
