THE chairman of Rubery Festival has renewed his appeal for residents and businesses to get involved in this year's event.
Tony Maslen has revealed money to support the event from lottery grants was likely not to materialise, and is now hoping village businesses will offer sponsorship.
Volunteers and marshalls are needed for the festival on July 21 at St Chad's Park. There are still places for local groups and more acts are needed for the talent show.
Contact Mr Maslen on 0121 457 9308 for details or e-mail am012g6921@blueyonder.co.uk
