PUPILS at Wychbold First School have welcomed a new headteacher.
Rachel Hughes started at the School Road school at the start of the summer term after previously holding a post as deputy headteacher at a school in Bromsgrove.
“I am relishing this opportunity. The school is delightful and very welcoming. It got a good Ofsted report in November and so I will just be continuing the very good progress the school has already made."

She replaces former headteacher Peter Bravo, who has also moved on to another school.
