CAMPAIGNERS against plans to build a new housing estate in a Vale village have stepped up their fight by taking an advert out in this week's Evesham Journal.
The group is rallying against proposals to build 59 houses on land off Station Road in Bretforton, which have been put forward by the Kler Group, and will be considered by Wychavon District Council's planning committee on Thursday, April 24.
The advert states the planners are recommending approval of the application and calls on readers to support common sense and ask district councillors to only approve sustainable development in Wychavon.
It will appear on page 26 of this week's Journal and shows photos of the area of land in question under water each year since 2012.
