The Bewdley Rotary Club stepped up fundraising for a good cause when it handed over £600 for the Emily Jordan foundation.
The money was raised through Rotary club members walked up three of the highest peaks in the Lake District.
The foundation raises money to supports people with disabilities who struggle to gain employment through gardening programme Project Twigs.
People with learning difficulties can gain experience of growing and selling plants to the public through the project, with the aims of helping them secure paid work.
Robert Hill, President of the Bewdley Rotary Club has said; ‘The Club has been a supporter of the Emily Jordan Foundation for some years, and the money raised will help the project greatly.’
