AFTER his packed-out Evesham show last year, million-selling X Factor golden boy Joe McElderry is back in town with his 2015 Evolution tour - one of just a handful of acoustic shows he'll play on a 60-date nationwide tour.

As you'd expect from someone who's won both 'X Factor' and then 'Pop Star to Opera Star', he'll be wowing the audience with songs from rock and pop through to classical - just Joe, his guitar & piano.

"Performing live is my main passion so it was a no brainer for me to do so many dates. Due to the success of this year’s tour, I wanted to take the show to every corner of the country giving as many fans and music lovers the opportunity to see a show locally where perhaps they normally wouldn’t.” said Joe.

JOE McElderry soared from X Factor golden boy to million-selling national treasure after crooning his way into the heart of the nation. Since then he's been the heartthrob of hundreds of thousands of fans aged from five to 95. Since storming to victory in front of millions of fans on the TV talent show, Joe has matured into one of the country’s most polished and popular singing stars. His 2013 and 2014 tours performed to sell-out audiences.

His smash hit single The Climb rocketed to number one and his album, Classic, went gold within two weeks. He’s also the first X Factor winner to release four albums. But it’s as a live performer where Joe’s charismatic performance lights up the stage and packs theatres.

He also works hard at raising money for charity, recording with Dionne Warwick for The Hunger Project UK and with Royal Mail Choir for Prostate Cancer UK - and cycling 140 miles coast-to-coast for the Teenage Cancer Trust. He's received the Silver Heart Award from Variety/The Children’s Charity for his continued charitable work. Not bad for someone who'll turn 24 two days before he gets to Evesham!

Tickets for the June 18 show are on sale now from Evesham Almonry, 01386-446944 and www.EveshamArtsCentre.co.uk - price £20. The show is already selling well but good seats are still available. A very limited number of VIP tickets - featuring a pre-show meet and greet, champagne, photo-opportunity and goodie bag - are also available for £75.
