A MUSCULAR good Samaritan stopped two thieves in their tracks and returned a stolen iPhone and bike to their teenaged owner.

The man, who may have just been to the gym, is being sought by police after he took the items off the thieves and reunited the vulnerable victim with his smartphone and bike.

The 17-year-old was robbed of the iPhone 4 on Tuesday, July 28 between 8pm and 8.30pm outside Kidderminster Town Hall on Vicar Street.

Two unknown boys stopped the victim as he cycled through Kidderminster town centre and asked him for the time.

When the victim took his phone out of his pocket, one of the boys grabbed it and pushed him off the bicycle causing the victim to fall to the ground.

The two boys then rode off on the victim's bicycle.

One of the boys is described as white, approximately 6 foot 2" tall and of thin build.

He was wearing blue tracksuit, black cap and trainers. He also wore a scarf covering the lower half of his face.

As the two boys rode off on the victim's bicycle, a passer-by who saw the robbery managed to stop the suspects and return the stolen property to the victim.

He is described as bald and of a muscular build.

The good Samaritan was also thought to be wearing a vest and shorts, as if he had just been to the gym.

Police are keen to speak to him and anyone else who may have witnessed the incident.
