POLICE in Bromsgrove are appealing for witnesses after a burglar entered a house in Stoke Heath and stole car keys, then drove off with the owner’s car.

The incident occurred at some point between 5.40pm and 5.45pm on Monday, February 1 at a house on Tollhouse Road in Stoke Heath.

The burglar entered the house through the rear kitchen door, which was closed but unlocked, and once inside they walked through the house to the front door, taking a bunch of keys from the back of the front door, before leaving the building, closing the kitchen door behind them.

The bunch of keys included a key to a black Audi S3 saloon, registration L3KJJ, which the burglar then unlocked on the front driveway of the property, before getting in, reversing off the drive, and driving away in the vehicle.

The victim, who was upstairs in the house at the time of the theft, witnesses the burglar getting into the car and driving off before they called the police.
