THE Jinney Ring Craft Centre in Hanbury is hosting an animal themed charity day on Sunday, July 17 with a whole host of things to do as well as some four legged visitors.

The centre is raising money for the Cinnamon Trust, which provides help for elderly or disabled people who can no longer look after their pets, by taking them for walks, feeding them, and even fostering them during their owners’ hospital stays to help out.

The Jinney Ring will be packing its gardens for the day with more than 40 local charity and trade stalls, with games and demonstrations. There will also be a whole host of animals around on the day from alpacas and ferrets, to donkey rides, and even a fun dog show for people to bring their own pets to.

Former racehorse Significant Move will be on site, along with work horse Shreck, and TV and radio journalist Joanne Malin will also be turning up to make a special presentation to mark five years of the event.

There will be a display of doggy dancing from Westglen Heelwork to Music Club, and organisation Cannicross Worcestershire will be offering demonstrations in how to get started in trail running with dogs, while firm favourites Mid Western Gundog Society and Dogs R Us Agility Club, will also be showing off their dog training skills.

The day is running from 11am to 5pm and entry is £2 for adults and £1 for children with all proceeds going to the Cinnamon Trust. The Farmhouse Restaurant and garden marquee will be open on the day and there will be free parking in the field. For more information visit jinneyring.co.uk or call 01527 821272.
