LITTLE known facts about the Black Country will be the topic of the next talk at Dudley Archives and Local History Centre.
Historian Mick Pearson will be taking a light-hearted look at the history, people, language and traditions of the Black Country on Thursday November 3 in a talk drawn from his book - The Little Book of the Black Country.
Tickets for the event, which starts at 7.30pm, cost £2 for visitors and entry is free for members of the Friends of Dudley Archives and Local History Service. Admission includes refreshments.
Future talks will cover topics including art history, local heroes, industrial heritage, The Earl of Dudley, life during the Great War and more.
The English Civil War will be discussed at Kingswinford Library on Tuesday November 1, and Rose Cook will talk about the History of Duncan Edwards at Stourbridge Library on Wednesday November 23.
Tickets cost £3 for The English Civil War and The History of Duncan Edwards talks - and refreshments are included.
