FROM a gardening wildlife trail to wildlife crafts, there is plenty happening for youngsters at Worcester's Hive library during the Easter holidays.

Children can take part in the garden wildlife Fantastic Beasts trail, finding hidden pictures through the library, between April 8 and 23.

It costs 50p per child, with a mini Easter egg at the end of the trail.

Children can also make cone bees, plant a wildlife seed in a newspaper pot, and make a butterfly to take home with them.

Throughout the Easter holidays regular children’s activities will be taking place at The Butts-based library, including on Saturdays and Sundays with the wildlife themed storytime sessions Rat-a-Tat Tales, and extra holiday storytime at 11am and 3pm on Wednesday, April 12 and 19.

Wacky Wednesdays will have interactive parent and child sessions for pre-schoolers, running between 1.30pm and 3pm, while bounce and rhyme and baby bounce and rhyme will continue as normal on Tuesdays between 10am and 10.30am, and Fridays between 11am and 11.30am - except on Good Friday, April 14.

A children's self-guided sustainability trail is running at the library, with stickers to follow around the walls and windows of the library.

The Hive is closed on Good Friday, April 14, Easter Sunday, April 16, and Bank Holiday Monday, April 17.
