PREPARATIONS are already underway for the next instalment of a popular community event in Worcester.
The Warndon Villages Summer Fete, hosted by Lyppard Hub and Warndon Parish Council, will be taking place around Ankerage Green on Sunday, July 9.
Last year's event was a huge success, attracting more than 2,000 people, and organisers are pulling out all the stops to ensure this year's fete is a similar smash hit.
The fete, running from noon until 4pm, will feature fairground rides, inflatables, a soft play bus, a barbecue, face-painting, pony rides, a circus workshop, and plenty more.
Stall pitches are available, priced £10, and organisers are urging more people to sign up and get involved.
Maxine Roberts, from Lyppard Hub, said: "We want to involve everyone in celebrating and promoting all that’s great about our community, so if you are a local small business, charity or voluntary organisation we want to hear from you."
